Our Partnership with Pump Aid
We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Pump Aid, a charity committed to providing sustainable water solutions in Malawi. Established in 1998, Pump Aid has helped over 10,000 communities build and maintain their own water pumps, providing clean water and sanitation to over 1.5 million people. What sets Pump Aid apart is their commitment to training and employing local women and men to maintain the pumps, promoting local enterprise and employment. As a soap company, we understand the importance of good hand hygiene, and we believe that access to clean water is essential to achieving this goal. Our partnership with Pump Aid allows us to support their award-winning approach to ending water poverty and food insecurity, while empowering local communities and stimulating local economies.
At Soapyard, we share Pump Aid's commitment to promoting sustainable solutions to water poverty and empowering communities. We'll be setting aside 10% of our profits for charitable purposes, and we've chosen Pump Aid as our charity of choice.
We encourage you to learn more about Pump Aid's work and follow them on social media to stay updated on their progress. Together, we can work towards eliminating water poverty in Malawi by 2030."
